"My wife checked in last night 1/18/2024 and quickly left! At first, she wasn’t thrilled because she went to the bathroom and noticed black mold on the wall. She then pulled the sheets back on the bed to check (Thankfully), and was able to get a picture of the big bedbug and stayed away from the little ones crawling around. She went to the front desk to get a refund and the guy told her he could exchange rooms, but the “manager” had to issue a refund. I’ve already contacted our credit card company and they will be handling it on their end."

"My wife and I stayed for 1 night. The experience at this hotel was not so great. The front desk agent was rude. The room that we were sent to was the wrong room type, the agent refused to be in the wrong at all and proceeded to argue about it. The room we were sent to after that had black mold all over the place. The issue was brought to their attention and nothing was done about it. As a result we were put on the do not rent list as a form of retaliation from the property owner for complaining. Do not recommend."

"This was one of the worst hotel I've been to. At check-in the desk agent was talking on her cell phone through the whole check in process. I had originally booked a king suite, after getting my keys and making it to my assigned room it was a double queen. I went back down to get new keys for the room type I actually booked. The desk agent proceeds to argue with me about the room type never being a king suite even with my confirmation email that said king suite. Finally after 20 min of arguing with the desk agent she finally gave me a king room again still not the same room type I booked. I believe out of spite she placed me directly next to the room they were doing construction in. I left my husband in the room and went to visit my family. When I returned back that night I discovered the room had a very bad mold issue. I did bring it to the desk agents attention but was told that the pictures I took wasn't of their property. I told her to come up with me and she refused. I tried to get her name but she refused to give it to me. She kept insisting her name was 'P' she finally said it was Patel which was her last name finally the breakfast lady says she calls her 'C' I still don't know what her name is. The only good experience I had was with the breakfast attendant and breakfast itself. I hope in the future the desk staff is trained better."

"Several weeks ago, I booked the Quality Inn in Terre Haute, IN for Friday, Sept 15 as there is a large event in town that weekend. Over the weekend, I received a cancellation notice from the Hotel with no explanation. When I called the hotel, they first denied it entirely and then the guy that answered finally admitted "don't know, wasn't me". He had no rooms. I then called Choice. They also initially indicated that they didn't know what happened, but ultimately agreed that it was the hotel that cancelled our reservation (for no reason) after I pressed them. The woman on the line offered me rates at other nearby Choice hotels that were MORE than I could book online on my own. Pretty insulting. She passed me on to her manager who at least acknowledged what had happened, but was also of zero help. I ended up having to book a room at another hotel at twice the price of our original reservation. Maddening."

"This hotel is very old and outdated, although the common breakfast area looked like it was freshly renovated, so perhaps they are working on it. The front desk lady was cordial but not very friendly and we thought it was odd that she hesitated to give us an extra blanket and then said she would have to note in on our account. Some parts of the hotel smelled like stale cigarettes, but the whole hotel also had a musty smell in general. The rooms seemed much nicer from the pics online than they were in person and I'm not entirely sure they were cleaned well from the last guests as there were chips on the floor and we didn't bring chips. The pillows on the bed were comically flat and whimpy and the bathroom sink had no hot water. The tub and shower looked old and yellow-y but there was surprisingly great hot water and good water pressure. The A/C unit was wonky and the room repeatedly went from chilly to humid all night long. I did not have high hopes for breakfast but the breakfast was good. Clean breakfast area with friendly personnel and good food options, including a waffle maker. We actually went a little out of our way to stay in this hotel because online it looked like the best clean and updated hotel out of our choices, but I would most likely not stay here again."
