"I pulled in to get my site, and they had at least 3, maybe 4 cats, walking all over everything in the store. A big cage right as you walk in and I could smell the litter box. Get to my site and i look at my exit there were 2 branches that needed to be trimmed so it did not scratch my class a. I asked them to trim them, and the lady said several times that she had big rigs in that site all summer and that they did have a problem. They never came out to trim them, so I had to back out and go a different way to leave this morning. A big 45-foot rig came in, and I had to help them get into their site . They thanked me and said that this is the worst KOA they had been to. For me, I have been to one worse, but this is a close second. The site I had was level, and the bathroom was warm but needs cleaned up. If you have a big rig, skip this campground until they clean things up. For an overnight it's doable but I will put a pole trimmer in our rig and we won't ever stay here again."
"Rough around the edges. Pros: Good strong internet. Easy hook-ups, convenient location, animal friendly, unique, and grounds are decently maintained. Staff is kind. Cons: Staff is kind, but some are little gruff. Dogs barking is loud and continuous. A little tight pulling through. Road noise is louder. I would stay again for a night or two, unlikely for a long-term stay. It has a super cute family owned feel."
"We had a wonderful KOA experience. The owners are very helpful and friendly. She responded to my texts and helped me twice with arrival issues that were time and weather related. He came around asking in a very friendly way if he could do anything for anyone throughout the stay. The little store is open until 9 and has ice and great firewood. The campsites are a little tight, but they have pretty trees, gravel pads, and many are pull -thru. Some of the sites even have sewer hook up. The bathrooms are clean and even decorated. It is obvious the owners take pride in the campground and do everything possible to ensure campers have a great stay."
"I only stayed overnight, just crashed for a few hours of sleep, then hit the road in the morning. Bathroom was really clean, and they had decent lighting and shower pressure. My cabin wasn't swept real well, and they didn't get under the beds. No chair in the cabin to sit at the desk to write, so that was a bummer. But bright light image the cabin! Much better than the last KOA cabin I stayed at, the light was really dim- so I was glad not to have to use my phone to light up the cabin! I walked the grounds a little and was impressed with the amount of tree cover they have. Nice! The pool is on the smaller side but looks like it is a nice one during pool season. I saw what looked like a large connect-4 game. Will have to come back with my kid for that. Will stay again!"
