"Would not refer anyone to ever work at this place. They are telling employees that if a customers card declines, the total of that bill gets taken out of their pay! They also won’t allow you to have your cellphone on you at any time as if emergencies don’t ever come up?! Last but certainly not least, you work a 8 hour day and only get a 10 minute break and 3 bathroom breaks. This place can go to the hottest corner in HELL!!!!"
"I shop there everyday and I just had the worst experience. I had a bag of lettuce in my cart. The cart was broken and steering in one direction so I proceeded to take it back. I have my own shopping bag so I put the lettuce in the bag changed carts, took the lettuce out the bag, and was going to continue shopping. The manager there proceeded to bombard the door for 2.99 bag of lettuce that was already in an entirely different cart. Mind you, I was not leaving, just changing carts but the carts are at the door. He says “yeah just open you’re bag because we already know your stealing” I indeed let him have a piece of my mind because LETTUCE?? Let me would’ve not been black I would’ve never had this issue. I’ll never spend another dime there."
"I go to this store to do much of my grocery shopping because I live nearby. The staff can be friendly and helpful. The store is generally well-stocked; occasionally there is an item I want that they don’t have or that’s a little pricey. However, prices are low enough that I can get away with doing a lot of my shopping here. There is usually no wait or a short wait at the checkout lines, and the cashiers generally do a good job of ringing you up and bagging your groceries. Prices can be a little high on some items, but just as often you find good deals and sales on stuff. No grocery store is perfect, but for a smaller chain neighborhood grocery store, Bockwinkel’s does a pretty good job!"
"Not friendly, limited choices, and ridiculously high prices, especially for produce. Quality of produce is poor. You are better off walking a few minutes further to Whole Foods."
"Why does this store think they can just get away with selling rotten produce? I stop by here only to grab things out of necessity due to the fact that I live right next door, but I recommend to only buy goods that are not fresh such as canned goods, condiments, etc. You will be disappointed by the meat and produce because it’s almost always expired, or about to expire."
