"I have bought sod three times from Wrede and it was rolled right under my eyes and placed in my trailer. Great quality! Last time however this spring, they called me to tell me they had sod available, but it was not rolled on the spot. A client failed to pick up their order and Wrede kept it rolled and it rottened and then they sold it to me. What bothers me is that I put all that effort and money: gas, driving time, unloading, spreading the rolls, watering it daily for two + months only to watch it die starting the next day. Then, I blamed the drought for making the sod look dead. However, I waited until it rained, and all grass had recovered except the newly-bought one. I waited and waited hoping that i was wrong. Because it was all rot, color was different, patches of rot visible...Wrede is not the only business doing that McCammon the same, selling already-rotten sod from cancelled orders to clients who are not aware of the trick. And darn coincidence: when I bought the rotten sod, the owner even made time for an unsually long small chat. Usually they are super busy."
