"Cashier never said a word to me. Never even told me my total. Baggers were too busy talking about Call of Duty to do their jobs, so I had to bag everything myself. What looked like a manager walked by and didn't say a word about it. Don't think I'll be coming back."

"really don't know how some of the employees here got a job. a few are friendly but not all. The music is hilariously loud too. Someone I know got hit by a cart in the parking lot. My family calls this store "crazy town" for a reason"

"Went in tonight to purchase a few items, had alcoholic beverages I wanted to purchase in hand and was looking at formula. Employee Gina said she could not open the formula case so that I could purchase formula. I said it was ok because I was just looking. She saw that I had alcohol in my hand, I followed her up to register and had my items ready to purchase. She then got on the intercom and announced she could no longer serve alcohol while looking at me. She then refused to let me purchase the items she saw I had. Jewel has lost a life long customer. She could have let me know that I needed to purchase the alcohol before 11pm. I called Jewel Osco on laraway and they informed me they sell alcohol until midnight. Very strange that frankfort doesn’t and also can’t give formula out after a certain time? We will not be back and we will be telling everyone we know of this experience."

"Staff has always been nice. However, I always find old looking meat when I go there. I started shopping somewhere else for meat for that reason and shopped here for everything else. But now I’m finding old produce. Maybe the produce I got this time was just a one time thing, but I’ve been seeing the old meat for some time since I’ve moved here. I don’t know why this is a problem, but Im overall not too comfortable purchasing fresh groceries here anymore. I never have a problem with this at other locations, and I think I’m just going to travel farther if I want to shop at a jewel."

"I don’t believe I’ve ever had such bad and deplorable service and experience at a grocery store before. The store is under construction but that’s no excuse for lacking items, at 4pm on a Friday there was very little fresh backed goods I saw many customers look disappointed as was I. The deli counter was closed at 2pm? And the employees all said “under staffed” while walking away, so deplorable. How are people supposed to feed their families - there was one woman behind the counter who could’ve been working the counter. Many bread items look like the employees just grip them and slam them on the shelves, I wouldn’t buy hot dog buns as many where left with finger holes and “man handled”. Bonk and bare freezers? I don’t believe I found frozen waffles…. But the worst part came during the self check out service - I had coupons saved in my account, but as I rarely go to jewel (and after this experience I will likely never return) my total did not ring up correctly. When I tried to get assistance, it took a few minutes, fine. But the real problem came when a young (18-25) white gentleman came to assist. He said it would’ve been easier if I had the app, I said sorry I usually go to MEIJER, I showed him the offer where it simply said $1 off Scott Tissue with the exact image of the one in my cart - he then took my phone to verify, and WITHOUT MY CONSENT he went into my App Store and tried to download the jewel app. I immediately stopped him, is it customary for Jewel employees to take your phone and download apps without your consent? He wouldn’t assist me in adjusting the price and whoever the young man in the self check out on August 19th 2022 around 5pm needs to be disciplined on better customer service and personal property - never had such a bad experience with a employee before. They also had food right up to their expiration date, it was the 19th on my visit and bread that was to expire on the 22nd was on the shelf - no fresher items…. $7 for a medium box of cereal - please, I will never return to this location it’s unfortunate that Frankfort has this store I have had better service at a Walmart and dollar store.."
