"The front desk NEVER answers the phone. Which is crazy bc when you go inside, they are never super busy to the point where it's impossible to do so. I called multiples times one day and it kept going to VM. Went in and literally they were sitting there talking. I've been going to my doctor here for about 10 years. He's great! But after having my baby I'm definitely considering going elsewhere. Let's not forget when I was there my last appointment, I guess a young lady forget something in her car or something of the sort. When she walked out the door one of them said "Good and don't come back" there was no prior altercation or anything. When she returned to the desk from her car they just smiled in her face. The young lady was nice from the time she left to go to her car until her departure when she returned. It's stuff like that that make me not want to go back."
"Dr Logan is wonderful, very efficient and cheerful. Her NP’s always make me feel seen and listened to. The desk staff are a bit formal, but always polite and professional. She literally saved my life, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else."
"I'm not sure where they hire their desk staff, but they need to start hiring elsewhere. Let me start off by saying that the actual physicians at this practice are wonderful! I moved an hour away during my first pregnancy and loved the doctors so much that I continue to drive an hour to see them for my second pregnancy as well! But the girls who work the front desk are ignorant and impolite. During my first appointment for this second pregnancy, one girl forgot to transfer my name from the sign-in sheet to the computer system, so I waited nearly an hour before having to ask if they had my insurance information correct. She then proceeded to silently hand me a clipboard of paperwork to fill out. When I returned the paperwork to the front desk, I asked why I wasn't given my paperwork when I signed in like everyone for the past hour had, and the girl behind the desk started crying. I returned to my seat and waited another twenty minutes. When I went back to the desk to ask another employee if I'd still be seen the same day (and explained that I had an hour drive back home and would rather go ahead and start that drive instead of waiting aimlessly any longer), the first girl who had forgotten to sign me in came around the corner in tears literally yelling at me that I was already in the system, that she had already apologized to me (untrue), and that I needed to leave her alone. Her coworker (seemingly an older nurse, but I was so taken aback I forgot to ask for any names) walked up to us without having seen what had already happened, and proceeded to take the girl's side "because she'd been having a bad day." The nurse told me that I had no right to talk to the front desk staff "that way" (as if I had said a single rude word to the girl who forgot how to do her literal job). The girl from the desk even played the victim card so well that her bosses ended up sending her home for the day! (P.S. Hey girlie, if you somehow end up reading this review, maybe consider a future career in acting! Cause customer service ain't it for ya, honey). If you've read this far, I really want to emphasize how amazing the actual team of doctors and their staff are! After the mess that happened at the front desk, I was seen almost an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment, and the ultrasound tech, the nurses who I had been assigned to that day, and ultimately Dr. Logan herself assured me that I was not in the wrong, that I never should have been treated that way by a glorified secretary, and that my pregnancy is healthy and I can finally be relieved and move forward! That day I was so worked up that I almost walked out and found a new OB on the spot, but I'm so glad I stayed there to see Dr. Logan again for my second pregnancy! Physicians for Women really does have an amazing healthcare team!"
"I have a speech impediment, so making calls is very difficult for me. The staff is always courteous on the phone and never makes me feel bad for this. I see Dr. Garrad and he is great. I had not seen a GYN in many years because my last visit was absolutely horrible. I was scared to see a new doctor, but I feel very comfortable with Dr. Garrad. Ms. Lisa is a great nurse as well. I love this office. I feel like they make you wait too long just get a quick injection, but other than that, no complaints."
"So fortunate to have had Dr. Newman for my maternity care! He is a great doctor! Very intelligent, very kind. My care was tailored to my specific needs. I was always treated as an individual. He always took plenty of time - I never felt rushed. I hope everyone can have such a great experience! His nurse was friendly and helpful! The staff was pleasant. My calls were returned in a timely manner, some quicker than others depending on the matter at hand. I truly believe this would not have gone as well without Dr. Newman!!"
