"I took my 318 in for a stock long block rebuild with rv cam upgrade in january, They said it would be done in two weeks. 5 weeks later I got my engine back. After getting it home I found that I was missing the oil pan, dipstick, oil filter adapter plate, and cam gear that turns the distributor. I went back for the parts and I learned that the guy that built my engine had been arrested and didn't know when he'd return. They finally found all missing parts but the dipstick. He gave me $20 to reimburse the dipstick. 800 miles later the engine began leaking oil, loosing power by the mile, and overheating. Everything was new on my end and timing set perfectly. I went to Component Machines to see if they would stand behind their product. He said there's not much he could do, but if I took the engine back out and brought it to him he'd look at it. I was not going to spend the time and money to pull the engine when it was their mistakes. I would not recommend this shop for a rebuild. I'm out $1200+ and a lot of wasted time. Unfortunately research lied to me on this purchase."
