"I live an hour from Pepper Place but wanted to visit this farmer’s market particularly to see my son’s business set up. I visited on May 7th (Kentucky Derby Day) and I was very impressed with everything! Even the public restrooms were impressive. YH Farms is my son’s hydroponic farm and his set up was really neat. Of course I bought lots of fresh mint to make mint juleps. Yummmm. I also bought some pink shrimp from a Louisiana booth and served it on Mother’s Day, also outstanding. With a new grand baby I definitely went home with 2 new onesies from Alabama Dirt. Adorable! I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t try out any food vendors but WOW there’s great food choices. What I really liked was there were so many different types of vendors. Parking is super easy. Be sure to bring lots of bags cuz ya won’t leave empty handed!!"
