"I started taking my 2 kids here prior to COVID. appts we’re being rescheduled last minute even back then for the drs vacations. Not to mention the front desk lady has twice given me the wrong Childs school note. Since COVID things have only gotten worse. My kids have always had 6 month cleanings, now you go in and the earliest they have is 9 months. So my kids insurance starts calling me for 3 months because they’re overdue. My oldest needed sealants put on, scheduled in august 2022 for May 2023. I had to reschedule (first time I’ve ever rescheduled) for June. Her appt was at 10am and I get a call at 9am that once again Dr Hott isn’t there and the dr that is there covering for him doesn’t accept her insurance. I only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because Dr hott use to be a decent dr when you would see him but now he’s always on vacation and most of his office staff is incompetent."

"Been a patient there for many years, Dr. Hott and his staff care very much about giving the best professional care possible. I cracked a tooth yesterday eve and was in a lot of pain, they took me in as a walk in emergency and he repaired the tooth, filled and built it up for a crown, I thought that tooth was going to ruin my trip to Florida in 2 days and they came through to help me. Thank You!! .."

"How Dr Hott is still in business is beyond me. When I moved to the Bluffton area, other then some cavities I had when I was really young I had no issues to date. So you can understand my shock when I was told I had multiple cavities at Dr. Hotts office. I decided to take a second opinion at Nicholson Family Dental and miraculously Dr. Nicholson saw no big issue with my teeth. Years later everything is going fine. Just imagine the extra money I would have had to dish out and have my teeth compromised for no reason! I would not recommend you or your family going there."

"Took my daughter yesterday to get her teeth cleaned. She was very scared. I’ve taken her to the dentist elsewhere before and she would never let them in her mouth. Chelsea was so sweet and patient with her. She made sure to explain what she was doing before hand and let her touch the tools before she put them in her mouth. Super impressed by her. Thank you"
