"I’m a current resident wrapping up my lease. I had a calm living experience here at 6190. I’m the kind of person that likes to be left alone and doesn’t like to be bothered too much because I work all of the time. And I would say that I got what I wanted out of these apartments. I wanna give a shoutout to the maintenance. They stay on top of things and do a great job. The reason why I give this place 3 stars however, is the price and security. I live in a 1 bed 1 bath and my rent is 1,300, however you do have to pay about another 50 for pest control, sewer, and trash. So you can expect to always pay at least 1,350 every month, and to be honest it’s a little ridiculous. When I first signed my lease, I was told there was a special where if I moved by this date, rent will be like 1,000-1,100 a month. That was why I signed here in the first place. But as I was waiting for Sarah to send my lease for me to sign it, it was the weekend so the month ended. And so that special ended, but the next best thing they could offer was one month free and 1,300 per month after, which is crazy because I was approved for at least a few days before the weekend. I was pretty livid when this happened. The main gate is always broken and easily allows theft. Security is also a concern because of this. Speaking of theft, (not at the same gate) a few months ago there was a situation where a few teenage went around stealing packages during Amazon Prime week. So it’s definitely something to look out for especially if you work all the time. I was given an offer (that I did not accept) for a month by month lease after my lease ended. The upcoming month after the end of my lease was $2,200 dollars which just the fact that it’s THAT expensive alone is the issue. I was sent no official notice that my lease was ending. I’ve never lived at a place that didn’t send one to me so I made the unfortunate mistake of forgetting to my 60 day notice. So you’re definitely on your own to remember that kind of stuff here. It’s definitely a nice and quiet place to live don’t get me wrong. But it’s also definitely overpriced and not as organized as I would like it to be."
"Very nice quiet complex! The apartments are nice. I love the open floor plan and the balcony! I enjoy having a car garage to put my car in. Matence are always on top of everything. The ladies in the front office are so all very sweet!"
"I’m not even sure what I’m paying $1300 for water cut off right in the middle of me showering and it’s barely been two weeks since the last time it was off(for 4 hours) and it’s included in the rent, which at this point it shouldn’t be this is the third time within the 9 months I have been here. There are a ton of stray cats just lounging around that LIVE in the ditch by my apartment and it’s annoying. At some point trash wasn’t even being picked up which is also included in the rent.I’m currently 9 months pregnant and this is very frustrating I can not even wash my baby’s items."
"The rent at this complex is ridiculous. You paid a rent which is like $1300. Then they add-on a pest fee, a garbage pick up water all this other stuff plus they charge you to pay the water, but you can't do it any other way. It's constantly messing up. They don't fix anything completely. It is supposed to be a gated community. I've been there for 11 months now. The gates been closed maybe a month entire time"
"I’ll start with the good before I get to the bad... 1. Maintenance will respond quickly to any small fixes needed for your apartment. (this is not the case with community amenities). 2. Management has always been responsive and they’re usually pretty nice. 3. The bath tubs in the unit are very large and in unit storage is plentiful. And the bad: This place is definitely not as nice as it seems online. My biggest complaint is that they cannot seem to properly maintain a pool here. It has only been open about 20% of the time and I’ve been living here 11 months. The only time it was open was during the brief cool season. The pool has been green for months and it seems like they are not ever getting around to fixing it. This is a key amenity in such a hot climate. Also, the volleyball court has always been in disrepair, sometimes it has many insects nesting in season. Grass has always been growing in the sand. There are some residents that fail to pick up after their dogs and it is so bad you risk stepping in poop if you walk on the grass. Also, the gate system took about 6 months to fix. As for my specific apartment, a large, misbehaved dog from the previous tenant seemed to have left some damage. I put in a request to fix these things the day I moved in, but they have never been fixed. There are gouges in the refrigerator, counter tops, and molding. Bottom line: this place could be great if they kept up with the maintenance of the community and actually repaired the damage previous tenants have done. For now, it is not worth what they charge. I will most certainly be moving out. EDIT: it appears that there is a new management team in place working to fix up the complex. Both the pool and volleyball court have been repaired, hopefully this keeps up for future residents."
