"I've come here for years, and honestly don't care who sees it. There are certain people who are genuinely kind and will help you, but that is the minority. It has gone down from a place that genuinely cares to a scary place I wanted desperately to get out of. I have a tic disorder and people were saying I may need a shot for a tic attack -- something *I cannot control*. As well as trying to pray it away and not helping me up when I fell. Some staff would aggressively put their hands on people (rarely but it was genuinely terrifying). Please consider anywhere else that has good reviews, because it's not what it used to be. I came home defensive and scared rather than ready to continue getting help."
"I was here in late 2021 in the teen unit and it was horrible. The staff would sit in the corner on their phones doing nothing else. We could all visibly see him smoking weed in the parking lot and he'd come in smelling like it. There was one thing that still haunts me. A kid was there and the first phone call they received they were told that their best friend killed themselves, and the staff did nothing. Me and another patient had to comfort them while the staff did nothing to help. We told the staff that they needed to be on suicide watch and they did not care. I got covid. Don't send anyone you love here."
"If I can honestly give them a 0 I would at first I went to Baptist East on Taylor and had went there due me having a headache I didn’t all day and before I arrived to this facility my menstrual was on and also I just went through a house fire at the time at the place I was living in and my house was set on fire. After the fire happened I was depressed never got enough sleep and my mother was concern for my health so she sent me to hospital that she thought would help me which didn’t I was sent to the facility after and next morning I woked and realize I was there . NURSES there are ALL HORRIBLE and need they license taken from the unprofessionalism that takes place at hospitals they talk about make fun of you due to you being their for better health whether it’s mental or physical and hopefully they would make these changes to this facility . I was joked on harassed talked to like I was retarded . My mental was worse while I was in there as well so it didn’t actually help , security was rude , techs were rude they never look at my name tag when I was there to verify that I was what I was . Also they had man patients sleeping with women patients which I was not too fun of because I’m here to better my health not for a hotel stay. I was there for 2 weeks my mother called the techs will monitor over phone calls that you had and also watch you on camera as well which is disgusting with what type of field this is. I know all nurses by face as well who treated me in the facility so I know who are and hopefully you guys will changes these matters ."
"The food was great. Some of the employees were nice but most was not. It upsets me because majority of the staff was black but didn’t care at all. No one supported me in what I wanted and needed except for the doctors and one or 2 nurses. I’m highly upset with this facility because they played with my life literally. Don’t go here"
"Crossbridge is a terrible place to send someone who is depressed. The facility was dirty and cold, the food sucked and basic human rights were violated. My pediatrician told me I would only be there for 1-2 nights to ajust my antidepressents, and I ended up being trapped there for a week. They suck money out of your family and the care you recieve is terrible. A patient (my roommate) assaulted me there and I couldn't advocate for myself. They monitor your phone calls, and you never truly have privacy there. If you are thinking about going there choose it as your very last resort. They charge 250$ a night without insurance, so if you are feeling off or sad, plan a vacation or something. Guaranteed you will be happier and it may end up being cheaper overall."
