"My chart not helpful. Can't find way to contact medical team for schedule problem."

"I don't go here very often AT ALL. I'm a very healthy person who hasn't really needed to see a doctor in years. I was first a patient with this practice when it was called Inverness Family Medicine and Dr. Brewer, who is now retired, was my doctor. A week ago I went on their website and used ZocDoc to schedule an appointment with Dr. Black. Now, less than 24 hours before the appointment, I receive an email from ZocDoc saying my appointment was cancelled. I called them and found out the Dr. Black is not accepting new patients, which apparently I am one of them. The person I talked to blamed the structure of ZocDoc for the late notice, but that's an insanely lame excuse. This is the platform they chose and it shouldn't become my problem that they are so disconnected with that platform that they cannot inform potential patients of a scheduling mishap any sooner than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment...especially when they literally had seven days to let me know. On top of that, they didn't even have the decency to call me to let me know and try to work out a solution. They simply clicked a button on ZocDoc, which then auto-emailed me letting me know of the cancellation. I was extremely happy with this practice before (hence 2 stars instead of 1), but now I have absolutely no desire to go back."

I went to a place that didn't have ANYONE call me back regarding a bill that I shouldn't have gotten let alone an office manager! & they surely didn't contact my insurance company on my behalf or lower my bill!! Man this place is even greater than I thought it was!"

"Dr Cranford is great, unfortunately the office staff are not helpful. After being told they were in network with my insurance I get a large bill for routine labwork. After addressing the problem, eventually an office manager called and assured me they were trying to get in network with my plan and retroactively have the claim processed but if they couldn't they would contact me. I was never contacted, they simply lowered the amount due a few weeks later. Find another place with better office staff!"
