"My experience with this office & Dr. Moore have been really good! It can be hard to get them on the phone, but they are typically very responsive to portal messages. It was great to be able to get proper testing when I first went to them, and they have been very helpful with adjusting my treatment plan since then. I live a few hours away, and their knowledge of dysautonomia conditions makes it worth the drive."
"Drove my aunt here. Horrified at how they treated her. Overcharged her, would not give her her own test results and the two women at the front desk were probably the rudest people I've ever dealt with in Birmingham, having lived here over 15 years! I advised my aunt to never go back, they care only about money AND they are rude on top of that!"
"i feel so let down and disappointed. Literally NOBODY would see me unless i do a tilt table test. That may seem understandable but i literally JUST did a tilt table test with a real cardiologist and failed. it was extremely traumatic since i literally passed out and was forced to keep standing and was literally strapped in. i understand they need it for the diagnosis but why pay that much money just to force myself to pass out again and go through that trauma again when i already did it with a great cardiologist? i even sent them and brought them the results from it. so not accommodating. i feel so guilty for making my parents drive 3 hours and buy a hotel just for us to not see anyone. but i will say the front desk ladies were really nice about it and its not their fault, they were just relaying the message. i wish i would have been able to speak to dr moore or that they would have let us know i would be FORCED to do that before waisting all this time and money. to sum up the story, dr moore will absolutely not see you unless you subject to all of their tests, even if youve had them done else where. seems like they just want the money. even if their tilt table has something that the others dont, let the people know that."
"I drove 3.5 hours to see Dr. Moore, and after 15 months of symptoms I finally have answers. Dr. Moore LISTENED, was kind, and her testing was thorough. She's also extremely knowledgeable about dysautonomia. I now have a treatment plan and am hopeful that things will improve. Everyone I encountered at the clinic was friendly. My next visit is telehealth, since I am moving to another state and will be even farther away. I'm glad they have this option."
"I’ve been a patient here for about 12 years. I used to see Dr Phillips but she retired a year or two ago. Dr Phillips was amazing and I miss her terribly. I was due for an appointment in November that I had to miss because I broke my right ankle and am under doctors orders not to drive, work, or put weight on it so I have no way of getting in to their office for an appointment but I was almost out of my medication and asked for one refill until I could get in to see Dr Moore. I explained this to some medical assistant (I guess) that works there and she was extremely rude and only cared about me coming in for an appointment when I told her it wasn’t possible unless it was on a Friday and they are closed that day. Convenient. After I spoke with them Thursday, this woman tells me there’s nothing they can do for me until I’m seen and asked if I can go to PCP for my prescription. That’s so unprofessional. I never once got to speak to the doctor directly and was fed up with this woman I was forced to try to communicate with. By the end of the day, I already found a new cardiologist because I no longer trust Dr Moore or anyone in this facility with my heart conditions if they are going to treat people the way that they treated me. Dr Phillips would never have let it happen and the place has gone downhill since she retired. I also got a dismissal letter in the mail Monday as well as my medication refill. It was my choice to not come back to this horrible joke of a Dysautonomia clinic when all they care about is billing insurance but Dr Moore and the woman named Lisa who is so rude are the reasons why. I’ve never missed an appointment, never been late, never have been a difficult patient, never failed to pay them what I owed after insurance and they act like I’m trying to get them to write me a rx for Percocet or something. It’s a beta blocker. It’s more than okay because I found a new cardiologist who actually cares about his patients and their well-being. I’m more than happy to say that I will never step foot in this office again. What a joke."
