"My experience with UAB Liver Center began when a lesion was found on my liver during an exploratory MRI. In September of 2018, my emotional status changed after spending months sick with digestive issues and being referred to this clinic to see if the lesion was related. In a short amount of time, I became what I would define as “the annoying Google patient.” During each of my visits at this office, the NP, Beth Comeaux, as well as two other particular ladies - Erin and Judy, made a significant impact on my emotional condition and peace of mind. Ms. Comeaux has been extremely compassionate and helpful; although it was obvious I was in no grave condition, I have been treated as a patient who truly mattered to the staff. My questions have been answered with patience and compassion, and Ms. Comeaux has specifically been intentional about helping me even though my physical condition has been outside of her area of responsibility. I have always been greeted with smiles and friendly conversation by the staff, and every phone call has been consistently positive and helpful. I am very pleased with my experience here. I can’t really say I want to have to come back, but if I ever need help with my liver, this will be the first place I request!"
