"If i could rate this place a ZERO, I would. I have never seen such a bad collection of Doctors.. We saw Dr. Ore for a year and her condescending tone and little remarks made us switch Doctors. We let the facility pick someone else being as they had our child's medical records since birth. The other Doctor spends the entire time on the computer looking up symptoms, something we could do ourselves, and does not seem to really listen to what is happening to our child. We have had to see yet another Doctor for quick visits and Dr. Burns got into it with my wife about making us hold down our baby to give her shots instead of holding her to comfort her like we have with all our other shots. This place is horrible, please don't take your children here."
"Dr. Orr is the best! My first appointment just meeting her she told me everything I needed to know and she always lets me know what will be going on with my daughter between visits and as a new mom this is so important and helpful for me. I can tell she loves what she does and cares about children. I brought my mother in law to an appointment and she loved her too! She’s so nice and I’m so glad I found her. I don’t ever want my child going to another doctor until she’s too old."
"While I am typically against publicly discussing my personal issues with local business, I find it necessary to say something today about Eastern Shore Children's Clinic. I have taken Chloe to this clinic since she was born and while the common frustrations of a doctor's office had occurred I was overall pleased until today. Chloe has been sick each time her vaccines have come around and because of that she has missed her last two vaccines. I called two weeks ago and made her an appointment for the earliest time available with Dr. Burns and that day was today. This morning Chloe woke up quite difficult and we were running behind schedule. I called the office three times before 9 am, only one of which went through to a staff member. I let them know we had a 9am appointment and we were running behind. Their response was "Okay I'll let the front know, thank you". So, I left and drove the 30 minutes it takes to get to their office, arriving at 9:20a on the dot according to the time on my phone. At the front desk, I was informed that the time was 9:23 and my appointment was for 9 am and I only was allowed to be late by 15 minutes or they would have to reschedule the appointment. I was the only one in the waiting room at the time. I informed the front desk about calling ahead of time and they informed me that they would still have to check with the doctor to see if they would take Chloe. A few minutes passed and they called me up and told me that I would have to reschedule. I replied "I will not be doing that and would like to speak with the doctor." The office manager came out and I told her that I am 8 months pregnant, live thirty minutes away, my daughter is behind two vaccines, we waited two weeks to get this appointment, and that I would not accept no for an answer. At no point did the staff member I spoke with this morning inform me that I only had 15 minutes before a reschedule would occur and had I known I could have made other arrangements. The office manager refused to allow Chloe to be seen regardless of our circumstances and would not allow me to speak with Dr. Burns. I told her that because of this circumstance I would no longer be bringing my child to Eastern Shore Children's Clinic and that I found it absolutely pathetic that they would turn away a two year old needing vaccines and her 8 month pregnant mother because of a 5 minute difference. Especially when they had no other patients in the waiting room. I would file a formal complaint but because it is against the practice itself and not a specific doctor I can't file it with the medical board. They do not have anywhere on their public page to leave reviews or posts, so, this is my way of making a public statement regarding my displeasure with how my daughter and I were treated this morning. A good relationship is imperative when it comes to doctors and while I took Chloe there believing them to be the best to care for her, I have found that if they can conduct business in this manner then they are clearly not the best."
"We were seeing one doctor for years here and after switching to another, Dr. Orr, we absolutely love her. She follows up with a phone call or her nurse does, when we call after hours and remembers my other children when I only go with one. I don't much care for the nurses however. My husband went with my son and they were annoyed he hadn't made an earlier appointment, even though we arrived on time and had to wait 35 minutes in the lobby with an autistic child. The receptionist aren't very welcoming either. Over all I would recommend this practice because the Dr. Is amazing."
