"We were visiting from out of town and my son needed a haircut. There were three barbers in the shop and not a single person greeted us or asked if we had an appointment. After 30 minutes I decided to greet myself, and asked if they did walk-ins, of course they didn't. A simple "hi, do you have an appointment " would have done wonders in preventing an upset customer from leaving the shop today."
