"First time trying this salon. I’ve shopped at the Jewel in the strip mall and gone to the nail place but never seen the salon before. I’ve been looking for someone I like and trust with my hair since I moved back to Illinois in 2011. Imagine how many different places I’ve gone to in my 7 year search. I’m done searching! Katie is fabulous!!! I have a lot of very fine curly hair, so it gets frizzy easily. Other places wanted me to purchase expensive chi treatments that ended up not working past the first wash, or they pulled my hair straight with a blow dryer, something I explained I couldn’t do, so again it didn’t work past the first wash. Or they wanted to sell me a bunch of expensive products. Katie helped me with tricks I can do to eliminate frizz that doesn’t take hours I don’t have. She gave me free samples of product and said if I like it, come back and see her, they sell it there. She actually used the product she was recommending in my hair so I could see what it did...unlike other salons....the result, I left with product in hand, and plan to return to Katie. I haven’t been happy with my hair for more than a day in over 7 years. BUT- My search for a great hair stylist stops here! Heartfelt thanks Katie!"
