"Great way to keep cool on a hot summer day. Very clean, well kept parking area on the Cahaba River. Float tubes with handles and backrests, as well as cooler floats are available for rent for your 2.5 mile, 3 to 4 hour float trip down the Cahaba River. A shuttle will be waiting at the take out point to bring you back to your vehicle. This is a mild float with only a 16 ft. drop in elevation over the entire route. Close toed water shoes are recommended for this float trip as the rocky shoals can be abrasive in some areas. No glass drink containers are allowed on the waterway."
