"I have no idea why people have such bad experiences with the health car they received from this location. From my check in time at 0900 and me sitting down on a chair, I was instantly called for my appointment to be seen by Dr Patterson and her staff. They were very caring and compassionate about their patients. I felt that I was loved and taken care of. This VA office should be the standard that all VA offices should strive to be. From the awesome ladies at the front desk, to the awesome ladies throughout the building that helped me navigate the location, I highly commend their professionalism and dedication to their veterans!"

"I have been going here for quite some time now and the service there has been incredible! In and out in under 30 minutes most times. Seen by whoever I was scheduled with in 10 min or less. My primary doctor is also a pleasure to work with."

"There needs to be negative reviews on this page. I haven't stepped foot in this clinic since 2018 and there is a good reason why. If you need to find help from a mental health professional, don't do it here. They will tell you everything is your fault and give you a ridiculous dosage of medications. And people question why veterans don't want to live any longer. This is why. Do better VA."

"The Huntsville VA clinic was my first visit to a VA facility and it went very smooth. Went to my appointment, got an ID card, and picked up a prescription all in less than 2 hours. On par if not better than comparable civilian wait times. Impressed!"

"With such poor ratings you think the VA would investigate the facility to find out what the issue is. I’ve been in other primary care facilities that were amazing, so I blame this one individually. If you are moving to the area, primary care appointments to get a new doctor are 2 to 3 months out. If you need medication for mental health issues, also a 2 to 3 month wait. Calling is useless, I started making phone calls to get appointments back in OCT, it’s now APR and I still don’t have an appointment scheduled for 2 more months. In other facilities you walk in and they made you feel welcomed and appreciated, here they just complain about being over staffed and make you feel like an animal waiting for the vet."
