Christ Health - Chalkville

"I didn't receive the care I desperately needed.. My appointment was at 11:20 it was 12:40 and the Dr.never came to see about me.. it was only when I walked out to the front desk to say I was going elsewhere that I was acknowledged.. I stated not to charge me considering The Dr. Never came to see me... The lady at the desk went to the back for a minute then returned saying the Dr. Could see me now she was standing by the door behind her.. I stated I didn't want to be seen by her considering I wasn't a priority over an hour ago... so I went elsewhere and glad I did... I feel the Dr. At CH just doesn't really care to hear what I been saying about my health issues... they just push medication for one or two of your symptoms instead of helping to find out why I am experiencing the symptoms and addressing all the symptoms.. I truly believe CH is contributing to my depression because they could care less about whether I live or die so long as they get paid for me keeping returning for the same issues.. and this is wrong... should really change the name cause this type of treatment is no where near Christ or Health... more like your health is a check to us.."

"This facility is close to my home so it is a convenient place to take my elderly mother however do expect a quick trip as they make appointments for say 1pm knowing that the physician go to lunch and won't be back from lunch till 1pm."

If you want the best experience, then get an appointment to see them. I have been to other locations, when i lived in another area of birmingham. They are all great, but my clinic on Chalkville Rd. is the best."
