UAB Medicine Gardendale Primary & Specialty Care

"I had an awful experience. I had a CT scan with contrast. They were rude and very impatient. I was setting down my purse ,coat, and soda. They told me, "anytime now and we are waiting" I am slower. I'm a senior with arthritis. Well after being shamed, they try to start the IV. After 3 sticks he calls in another guy. He starts digging and I told him to stop. He said he would get the er nurse to come with ultrasound sound. It sounded threatening. He continues and I tell him, "I'm done, stop, he continues. I can't get up off that narrow table on my on. He does get the iv started. Im crying and they started the the scan. They told me to be still and stop moving my head. Horrible experience. I gave the facility 2 stars because all other support staff was super nice and the facility was clean."

"First of all, I would like to mention the very helpful, friendly staff. They went out of their way to help me get inside and on their oxygen while I was there. The lung test tech, Rebecca, kept me amused with her good humor. The doctor I saw was very polite and thorough. I got a lot done there as far as labs, x-rays, etc. in a small amount of time. There was no waiting time at all and my appointment was mid-day. I will be back again!"

"My whole family goes here for medical care. Dr. Sarah Cribbs is our adult primary care doctor and also the pediatrician for our daughter. The staff here is very good and we have been going to them for about 5 years now. They are located next to the UAB Free Standing Emergency Room. There are several other specialties in the facility with them including the lab."

"UAB Gardendale is the best in patient care. Very convenient parking, located right off of the interstate. Updated furniture, very modern. Everyone was professional and courteous. I will continue to use to this location for my health care."
