When you feel bad, you don’t want to be pushed through like cattle or wait forever. I’m very appreciative all the staff and doctor for my really great visit today."

"I actually was referred to AFC through the VA, but I must say that I was impressed with the service that I received. The receptionist was very helpful with my paperwork and getting me setup in the system. The nurse was very kind throughout my time there. The Dr. was cordial in his assessment and evaluation. And the over all experience was in a very timely manner. I'm sure I will need to return to the clinic sometime down the road, but from my experience I will definitely recommend American Family Care in Gardendale."

"The Staff are very kind and treat you like family. Very professional and considerate. Even if there is something they can't help you with they will not just say no. They will actually look up places that can help you and write them down. I observed this while I was there. It was a few minutes before closing and a man came in. They had awesome recommendations for him and he cheered up. I love coming here when I am sick. The nurses are amazing and doctors are very wise."

"I got there close to closing & really appreciated them seeing me anyway. I realize everyone wants to leave work on time but their attitudes were remarkable from the front door to the exam room. Fast yet thorough, thoughtful , friendly staff, facility clean & inviting. The doctor was attentive to my needs not quick to give a Rx or say take two Tylenol & call your primary. Awesome service. This was my second time visiting & I would definitely recommend them for your urgent care needs if you live in the area. Let me also add these were different staff members I experienced from my first visit. They all deserved their Kudos. I used their in house pharmacy my first visit & was just as pleased. "Very clean facility and very nice staff! My sister recommended this place when I went to visit her from out of town. My shoulder had been bothering me for a few weeks. I first encountered Courtney at the front desk. She was kind, friendly, professional, and personable. Allison was also sweet, kind and professional. I received five star service from the time I walked in until the time I left. They did an X-ray on my shoulder, gave me a shot, prescribed meds and gave me a referral. I spoke with the manager Amy before I left to let her know how exceptional the service was from Courtney and Allison, and she was also friendly and professional. I’m not sure how much Courtney and Allison make but with service like that, they both deserve a raise! Lol!"
