"I don't have insurance, but have been in need of this visit for a while. Friday, when my toenail became infected, I called to make an emergency squeeze in appointment. I knew with the pain I couldn't put it off any more! The office was nice enough to have me worked in to see the doctor, as a sit and wait until the doctor is able to get to me. All fine! This morning was the appointment. I called before leaving work to make sure my form of payment was accepted, knowing I wouldnt have enough cash to cover it. If you are familiar with Synchrony Care Credit, it is not accepted at all offices. Hence, me calling to make sure it was accepted before leaving work. The receptionist said "Yes, we do!" I exclaimed "you do!?" And was again informed "Yes, we do!" I even told the receptionist I was just wanting to make sure before leaving work. When I get to my appointment, which was only 30 minutes later, I was informed that they Do Not accept that form of payment. I even explained to the receptionist that I had just called to make sure. Not sure if the two people were the same, but! I didn't get to see the doctor today! This is really disappointing! I've been in to see this doctor before and didn't have insurance then either. I don't know what kind of communication error we had today, but I'm still in pain."
