"I heard Poist was good but after meeting the staff today especially the older lady at the front I don’t want to deal with them. She kept saying slick stuff so I don’t get help and as soon as we walked in she turned her back and said something to the other staff then turned and that’s when she continued with her slick remarks. I don not like that. I will not be rescheduling."

"I was having complications at the beginning of pregnancy. Everyone thought I was chose Cahaba Medical with delivery in my hometown Centerville. Bibb Medical told me twice they didn't have an ultrasound tech to check on my baby. So I went to DCH. That's where I met Dr. Posit. He suggested I make an appointment with him. Only problem I had was with getting in touch with someone to make an appointment. After I finally got an appointment Dr. Poist was nice. He listened to my concerns. After delivery of my baby I had complications. I had a retained placenta. He tried every method possible to remove it which ended in surgery. At my postpartum appointment he was very helpful with helping me understand why he my placenta had got stuck and why surgery was the only option. If I have another I will definitely chose Posit again."

"Dr. Poist was the best doctor that we could have asked for during our pregnancy. He’s kind, listens to his paitents, and is very professional. During delivery, he was very tentative to our little one’s needs and my needs. Towards the end, there were complications and he handled them very professionally and calmly. If you’re looking for an OBGYN in Tuscaloosa, I would 100% recommend him for your pregnancy. We aren’t from Tuscaloosa and we got lucky to have had such a wonderful doctor. In my opinion, I wouldn’t go to another group or use another doctor."

"My daughter's and I love Dr. Jim Poist. He's very attentive. He takes his time, he listens to whatever concerns you have and explains your care plan in detail. He delivered my 2 grandchild, 1st grandson, he waa awesome!!"

"My paperwork was lost in their office which caused it to never get faxed on January 26th 2017. I never got so much as a voice-mail about it. I called them on February 28th and they had very bad phone etiquette. I was told that I would be receiving a call back but that never happened. I came to the office to redo the paperwork and was met with a don't want to be bothered attitude. I told them what I was told to do and when she came back she had had an attitude and asked me if I had the paperwork. I told her that she was the one that printed it off the last time and she told me that they are not suppose to do it and that if this happens again that I will have to bring the paperwork myself. I then told her that none of this was not told to me before hand. Dr. Poist is really nice, but having an all women staff probably was a bad idea. They were talking and acting like u was the one that lost my own paperwork when indeed it was them."
