"Courtesy Braids is a wonderful place to get your hair done. Nadine is very kind and accommodating, always willing to work people in based on their schedule. Not only do they supply braiding hair, but their work is beautiful and stays for a long period of time. I get my hair done there and it usually lasts me anywhere between 8-10 weeks before having to get it redone. They do most styles as long as a picture is provided, and if they can’t do that they let you know. They do braid tight, but usually the tightness wears off within 2-3 days. They also offer hair take down and washing services (for an additional fee) but it’s pretty decently priced. They do speak their own languages, but it’s never insulting towards you or speaking bad towards a client for the time I have been there."

"Horrible experience. I paid 70.00 for two strand twist for my 12 year old son. He has the sides and back cut low. They did not wash my son’s hair. The style lasted 4 days at best. I am so angry that my money was wasted."

"I got faux locs from them and literally they are way toooo tight!! I have a soft scalp and soft natural curls so my hair is delicate but the women who did my hair did not care. They even used a comb they used on my head on someone else and used it back on me again and Now I’m using CORTIZONE CREAM to massage the scabs and sores that are now all over my scalp. My scalp is raw and burning and I can’t even sleep at night. DO NOT COME HERE!"

"My dad took me to get my hair done 3 days ago,I was so excited but the people are unprofessional. I asked for box braids with curls at the end and didn’t exactly receive what I showed them but I still loved them.When I sat in the chair Nadine was friendly but when she started combing and blow drying my hair she was very rough on me.There were 2 people that switched between braiding my hair, when they started braiding it was very tight and I could feel the tension being pulled on my scalp,I told the lady it was too tight and she responded with “if I don’t do it won’t look neat” so I continued to sit in the chair and get my hair braided, then when this other lady started braiding the back ok my hair I also told her it was to tight and she told me the same thing. As they were finishing up my braids I could really feel the tension, that I felt like crying and couldn’t move my head. They will also sit there the whole time and talk bad about you in their language and you can’t understand.The first night when I tried to sleep I was very uncomfortable but I thought it was normal since I first got the braids done, the next day the braids managed to loosen up but they were still tight.When I was getting ready to take a shower I took a look at my scalp and realized there bumps near were the tension was being added and redness, so I decided to massage with oil and it didn’t help.This morning when I looked at my scalp I noticed the same thing so I decided to take pictures of my head and realized there was redness almost everywhere from the braids being too tight. I was very upset because my dad had to pay 180 dollars for them. I am deeply disappointed with the service I received. As I was getting my hair braided I also noticed that there was a 5 year who came to get lemonades braids, when I looked over my shoulder I realized she was crying because Nadine was doing to tight on her hair. So I know I’m not the only who experienced this type of service. Below is pics I have inserted of my scalp so I wouldn’t recommend getting braids done there. ,"

"They are absolutely trash braids didn't even last 2 weeks never again if no stars was a option they'd have none. These pictures were exactly 11 days after it was done."
