"Food is average and overpriced. The rooms were clean. There is nothing to do other than what is on location. The pool was typically too crowded to use. We showed up 1.5 hours after check-in time, and our room was not ready. We sat and waited an extra hour in their lobby. The manager would not comp us anything other than a nonalcoholic beverage. I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism. It was a quiet hotel."

"This hotel is part of the Fair Oaks Farm property. Very welcoming and inviting place. The employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and furnished well. Unfortunately there was only one (not so comfortable) desk chair in the room so we had to watch the very large TV from the bed - and being old, we promptly fell asleep! Bathroom was great with a spacious shower, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker but there was a free beverage station in the lobby so we used that. There is an indoor pool and we saw lots of kids and families using it. Also a pretty nice fitness room with treadmills and such. My husband used the nature trail and enjoyed it for his daily walks. The free breakfast buffet was better than most with eggs, sausages, fruit, cereal, yogurt. oatmeal bar with tons of toppings, waffles and more. I will review the restaurants and country store separately. There is lots to do on the property and at the hotel but very little in the surrounding area. We were here to see the migration of the Sand Hill Cranes so that kept us busy. I highly recommend staying here!"

"Brought my daughters to the pool and there were no towels. They said they were in the wash and would be there shortly. 2 hours later we went to our room to year those towels. I called to the front desk to have our room towels replaced, they said they were in the wash. Another hour went by and I called back, they said they were in the wash. For the cost of the room, I figured towels would be included. I called again and excited what happened, miraculously they had towels. The restaurant was also very worth a skip- extremely overpriced and mediocre food. The farm itself was a great experience however. I'll probably go back and avoid the hotel."
