"I had an appointment with the stylist named Debria. Though she was kind, I left this salon feeling very unsatisfied with her service. I have natural hair and I assumed the stylist knew how to deal with it. I had a gelled down ponytail and she said your hair is matted, which wasn’t true. She then began to detangle my hair while it was dry…. She shampooed my hair good then she put I believe a deep conditioner in my hair but she did not detangle my hair with conditioner on for slippage she just had me sit at the bowl with a shower cap on for about ten minutes. My hair had not been detangled and she began blow drying and it was the most horrible experience ever getting my hair blow dried it was not gentle at all. I also got burned on the forehead with the blow dryer. When the stylist combed my hair she used a medium sized comb and small comb on my hair and combed my hair from root to end causing excruciating pain. I was honestly so ready to go I wanted to ask her to stop in the middle of it, but I allowed her to finish. I let her cut an inch of my hair and the ends look bad still and there is a huge gap in my hair in the back on the end. She did my hair and I paid what was asked but it was not worth the $100.00 at all. This stylist may work for older women with permed hair but no natural hair I would not recommend at all. This was my first and last visit to Shear Design salon."
