"Came in for a diagnosis and repair on a starting issue. Previous tower/mechanic gave wrong diagnosis (faulty ECM/computer). Autocare Sol. diagnosed properly, thoroughly and patiently explained risks, possibilities, and costs every step of the way. My situation ended up being a broken/severed screw connecting the crankshaft (or something like this). Mechanic thoroughly and kindly explained/taught this to me (I'm not a car person at all). He let me know that I had a 50/50 chance of my whole engine being ruined due to the complexity of the problem. I was quoted a $700-plus fee, but later upon thorough analysis of specifying the problem (I assume he saw it simpler than initially expected), quoted me around $480 for total costs. That final phone call of great news was a tremendous relief and really made my week. I was very grateful. I love when people, particularly in business, are patient, specific, kind, honest, and of course professional. They were all of the above. Thanks!"
