"Update, as promised. After the disappointment of last Friday, I went back today to try to get my hair properly managed. Kudos to Mason, who took the time to actually understand what I needed him to do before making assumptions or just cutting away even more, and for asking questions for clarity each step along the way. He cleaned things up and finished the cut in good form and as well as I could have hoped, given what had already been done to it. I will be comfortable returning as needed, knowing that I will have a quality cut as usual and that M. will not be providing hair care services to me again. I think the only thing that could have made it better under the circumstances would be that they compensated me for having to come back and get the cut redone by someone else."

"No matter which location, which stylist, good or bad, I have NEVER received a haircut I was happy with for myself. Currently I'm still trying to accept the hair cut I received about a week ago. The stylist was a friendly person, but I went from having hair almost to my bottom to shoulder length hair with blunt layers. I specified my desire to keep as much length as possible, but somehow I lost the majority of my length. Edit to update: I took my daughter in for a haircut, where she did want considerable length taken off. The stylist was almost mournful because my daughter's hair is so so long and absolutely gorgeous, and she made sure that we agreed exactly where we wanted it to be cut. After we determined the length, the stylist happened to measure it, thinking it might be long enough to donate. Initially, there was not enough to donate, but only by a very small length. We discussed it with my daughter (7 y.o.) and went forward with giving enough length to donate. The results are exactly what we wanted. To my surprise, the cut was FREE since it was donation! I had no idea and that never influenced the discussion at all. Today was the first day I left great clips with a HUGE smile, completely satisfied. Thomas road location in Fort Wayne, IN."
