"Initially, I liked Hash. They did good work and it was a comfort to know they’d be able to handle my Volkswagen. My faith slowly started to slip over the 2 years I went here. Several times I would schedule an oil change weeks in advanced. I’d drop the car off night before, only to be told the day of my appointment they couldn’t get to it and it would have to be extended to next day. I only have one car, so that was frustrating when I make an appointment far out and it takes 2 days to complete. Once they said car was ready after hours, my boyfriend and I went to pick it up. The car wasn’t on the lot. Believing it had been taken, we filed a police report. Next day, I call Hash and they said oh it was in the garage. They forgot to put it out. They didn’t apologize at all, in fact they laughed at me for my conclusion to believe it was stolen. Customer service was my final complaint. They’ve not been nice. If I want to explain something, they cut me off and rudely cut to the chase. They are unfriendly and anytime you express a grievance they don’t seem to care. I love supporting small businesses, so parting ways with Hash has been sad."
"Personally would not recommend this place. I brought Hash Imports an AMAZING line of business including a Mercedes E55 AMG, a Mercedes GLE350, a Honda Pilot, an Acura RDX, and a Volkswagen Tiguan as I'd heard from others they do great work. If you get your oil changes here, you better have a second car (and someone to drive you around for extended amount of time without your car) because half the time the service isn't even completed by the end of the day. And I always schedule WELL ahead of time. Even just an oil change! They forget to change oil change stickers, communicate extremely poorly, and have no concept of customer service whatsoever. Each time I brought my girlfriend's car in for her routine services, Mike would bring out this massive "Suggested services" document that always had a ridiculous amount of services on it at a astonishingly high price, of course. But when I would ask for an explanation, it would be like I'm not speaking English to the guy. He was rude, impatient and overall is an extremely poor image to have at the forefront of a business. That doesn't exclude the time I had asked to pick up my girlfriend's VW slightly after hours as I was late getting off of work. Mike said he would leave the car out front with keys under the floor mat. But when we got there, there was no VW. With no communication, the car had been left in the garage out back, leading to my thinking that the car had been stolen. Needless to say, I called the police. Only next morning did I receive a call back. And no apology, even when I went in to get the car. If you have a European car, go somewhere else."
"Fair pricing and good communication, however, I would not take my car for electronic issues here. Brought my bmw in for a battery drain issue, and after dropping it off, when they were done with the diagnosis, they told me the possible component causing the drain but they also told me my rear components, like rear windows, rear lights, rear heated seats all stopped working. So on top of the actual issue, now my rear components didn’t work. They told me that my entire rear electronic module must be bad and gave me a quote to replace that module and have it coded by them to the car. Reason I am giving 1 star is because all of my rear components worked when I dropped off the car. I am familiar with coding bmws and when I got it back I saw that, when they were trying to diagnose using their diagnostic tools, they somehow managed to wipe the firmware on the rear electronic module. I coded the module back to the factory software and everything started working again."
"First repair on my 328xi with Hash Imports, and it was an excellent experience! Very nice job. Truly took care of my car. So many "little" things they did that was above and beyond expectations. For example... they noticed a minor part missing with rear brakes while replacing wheel bearing...and just fixed it. It solved a problem I've had for years, but forgot to ask about it. No nickle and dime charges either...so refreshing. Fair pricing for parts & labor and an all around good value. I know I could have paid much more for a whole lot less quality workmanship. Great job guys! So appreciate the extra effort. Yes, it was noticed!"
"I bought an all original 69 vette and I wanted to have a shop do a once over on it. Finding a shop that works on classic cars can be difficult, but luckily Hash was close to my house. Mr. Hash and his team looked it over and gave me a quote and a detailed list of what they would recommend doing to the car. They pulled the engine and transmission, installed new cam and engine components, replaced all engine seals, replaced my driveshaft, repaired suspension parts, cleaned the engine bay and much more. After picking my car up, I could tell a big difference in responsiveness and ride quality. I now trust the car for longer drives . The team texted me pictures during the repair journey and always answered the phone when I called. I'm a guy that likes a lot of communication/updates, especially with my dream car. When they had to add more items to the list they told me before doing it and let me know the additional charges, no surprises. The project did take 5 months, but the weather has been so hot and I understood they had more than my car to work on; it was not a problem for me. Overall, I would recommend them because of their customer service and ability to fix what needs fixing. When I have the opportunity to do a full resto-mod I plan to bring it back to Hash!"
