"If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in today for my consultation to get my wisdom teeth out and it was horrible. The dentist came in to explain the procedure and look at my X-rays and he was not welcoming at all. I told him I had a phobia of the dentist and he proceeded to say I could possibly have nerve damage that would be permanent or temporary. I know this is a possibility but there is a way to tell someone that. He seemed very judgmental and wasn’t friendly at all. He could be an awesome dentist but his bed side manners instantly made me not trust him. I will be finding another surgeon to do my surgery"

"I honestly was scared to death to get my wisdom tooth pulled! The receptionist answered every question. I actually spoke to real people on the phone. The assistants were kind, knowledgeable and listened to my concerns! The procedure was PAINLESS!!! Dr. Cowan took it out promptly and I was out sooner than they said!!!!! The best ."

"The worst experience. I recently changed my dentist and was referred to Dr.Cowan for wisdom tooth surgery after explaining that the first Ortho office i was referred to was horrible and was assured i’d receive nothing but good service here but in fact my experience here was WORSE! On 10/06/23 i showed up for my appointment. As the dentist assistant attached the heart monitor to my chest i had my phone in my hoodie pocket to which she never said a word about. I pulled out my phone to inform my boyfriend (who was my designated driver after the surgery) which pharmacy we were going to afterwards. Dr.Cowan saw my phone and yelled at the assistant to “GET THE PHONE OUT NOW!” as she grabbed it from me she told me she was going to set in on the ledge for me & he didn’t like that to which he yelled again “PHONE OUT OF THE ROOM NOW!!” Assuming the laughing gas had kicked in he said to the assistant “these kids always lie about handing their phone to their parents” I’m a 25 year old adult! No one ever said a word about me having my phone. I then turned to him and responded “I WAS INFORMING MY BOYFRIEND WHAT PHARMACY TO PICK UP MY MEDICINE FROM!” Dr.Cowan looked surprised and responded “Oh, we’ll inform him of that after your surgery” and then proceeded to slam my arm on his lap to insert my IV. seconds later i knocked out and before i knew it the surgery was over. I woke up crying because of how i felt throughout the whole experience. He was very mean and disrespectful not only to me but to his staff. As the assistant walked my boyfriend in she tells him “She’s crying due to the medicine, she won’t remember a thing” I do in fact remember EVERYTHING & will not be back to this office."
