"Called about getting a transmission done in my F250 diesel truck, was told on the phone it would cost $3300-3800, dropped truck off on before appointment was told they would call with a definite price and parts list, 5 days later I call them to find out what's going on and was told it's gonna cost me $5200 with no warranty then the next day they call me and tell me it's gonna be $5900 and they are buying a transmission from some place else was told my truck has bad u-joints which are still silver because they are brand new was told my brakes are bad along with a list of other things that had nothing to do with getting my transmission rebuilt. I ended up just picking the truck up after paying them $100 and taking it somewhere else. Not very happy with the service at all."

"They replaced my transmission with a Jasper rebuilt transmission and fixed a bad oil leak. We had a trip scheduled and they got it done in time. It worked perfectly, traveled about 800 miles. They also got me new tires installed when they got the frontend aligned locally. Got all this done at a great price! They were very nice to deal with even meet me after hours to pickup my vehicle. I loved their dog also. I would highly recommend this place."
"Conrad's was recommended to me by several different people. The ladies I spoke with were very pleasant and easy to talk to, but I was not impressed with the service I received. I took my truck in with what seemed to be a transmission issue. They diagnosed the issue and were very confident that the problem was in the transfer case, not the transmission. They quoted nearly $3,800 to replace the transfer case. I didn't want to spend that much money on my older vehicle, and I was not confident in the diagnosis. I brought it home and got a second opinion from another reputable shop. This other shop was confident that the transfer case was good and that the problem was in the transmission after running some tests and taking it for a test drive. We ended up replacing the transmission, and the original transfer case is still installed and works flawlessly. The lesson I learned was that it is wise to get a second opinion, and it's a good thing I didn't spend $3,800 to replace a component that wasn't faulty and then turn around and have to fork out more money to replace the transmission, which is what actually failed!"
