"We needed new shoes for my elderly husband. We have paid upwards of $300.00 for otherodics and he was still not walking correctly. Riecken's measured his foot, found out his old shoes were 1.5 sizes to large and his shoes offered no support. We got new shoes, and inserts and he is walking better, plus since he shuffles his feet got a sole better suited for him. He is thrilled. I showed the lady my foot. Evidently I have a bunion causing my big toe to lay over the next toe. So I got a sock like thing that protects the bunion and keeps my toes separated. Now I am happy also. The service was excellent. Not all that much more expensive than any good pair of shoes."

"Only gave 3 stars for the cleanliness of the store. They are not personal to individual needs. They are courteous but unprofessional in attending to the different issues we each may have. For example, I needed arch supports for flat feet and was told that I would no longer need high top shoes due to the arch supports....well I know that's not true because due to arthritis and my weak ankles I need the extra support in spite of the arch supports. I would not recommend this store as what they tell you may not be right for you."
