"Studio 500 is a hidden gem in Speedway. The atmosphere is very pleasant and welcoming. The salon is always clean, and the stylists are always inviting when you arrive. I have personally been going to Tammy for over 18 years. I received another top notch haircut from the best stylist on the westside of Indy. Tammy was able to squeeze me in at the last minute right before Thanksgiving, which is unheard of, in my opinion. I have naturally curly hair, and Tammy always gets my length just right, not every stylist can achieve this mission. If you have naturally curly hair and need to find someone that will listen and not take too much off call Studio 500 and ask for Tammy!!!!!"

"So I waited a week to make this review because I was really upset leaving the salon and didn't want to say something I didn't mean....well I HATE my hair. The woman who did my hair had an attitude from the moment I sat in her chair. My hair was probably about 3 feet long....I asked for a TRIM. Told her I didn't care If most of it was dead according to her. And this is really where her attitude started getting worse. The way she spoke to me and everything was just off. I felt in my gut to get up and leave but i had worked up so much courage to go that I stayed...also had to get a babysitter so yea. We decided on a length taking about 10inches off. I also asked for layers and curtain bangs to shape my face....I walked out of the place with my hair to my shoulders. Probably a good 20 inches taken off and it looks like someone put it in a ponytail and just chopped it off....the layers are not blended and the bangs are not bangs its just strands of hair that go down to my chin. The color is beautiful and that's where the 2 stars cane from. Long hair photo is what my hair looked like before I went in The other two photos are what I walked out with. Now in order for it to not look like it was just chopped off I have to let it grow a little or I will lose more length."

"This was my first experience in an actual salon, I have just been going to great clips my whole life prior to today. Ty Martin was my stylist and he was amazing. He made sure before we started that he knew exactly what I wanted, and was great about giving tips for my specific hair type. He was also very honest with me about my hair, like how my scalp was a little greasy and was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction as far as hair products. My cut came out beautifully. The space is also super cute, and you can tell they have a lot of repeat clientele . Excited for my next appointment! Edit: I dyed and highlighted my hair for the first time and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out :) thanks again to Ty! My before and after pics!"
