"First off as soon as you open the door you’re hit with the smell of the car musty smell of the carpet & a over powering smell of something like carpet fresh trying to hide the smell of the carpets ( if you have to use a cpap machine like I do you can’t here) Next the cleanliness of the shower as you can see in the photos it’s halfassed The bath towels are actually hand towns To get how water for show we had to leave the handle just on the hot side & it’s not really that hot Later I turn the light on in the bathroom & there was a nasty roach the 3 different photos is from 3 different roaches I had to leave the bathroom light on all the time as it seems that’s were they were coming from& I had to leave my stuff in my car so I wouldn’t take them home with me The other photos as you can see the poor maintenance of the place the photos that are on their site must be from the only good room The beds were broken down looking they’re 20 years old it was like that in all of our rooms definitely won’t be back"

"As a single senior traveling from MO to FL... after the sun went down I was desperate for a place to stay. How fortunate for me that I arrived at the Downtown Inn. I was put into a room right next to the owner. It was very very clean and the bed was wonderful. It is a no frills place but had everything I actually needed."

"Currently staying for week or two. Really good weekly or daily rates for this very clean (not the Ritz but not filthy!!) and very quiet hotel. A good value when compared to similar hotels. VERY nice people and customer service! I've stayed at lots of hotels and motels in and around the beach area. This is the best value I've found so far."
