"My husband and I were traveling back from Nashville when our car was having issues and it was not safe to drive any further. It was 11pm at night when we got a room at this hotel. Upon walking into the room none of the lights worked except for in the bathroom. We decided to check the mattress just to make sure it was safe and found German roaches in the bed (if you know anything about roaches, these are the WORST type. They will travel with you, infest cars, houses, apartments. They are a living nightmare). Since we had only been there for 10 minutes and hadn’t brought anything in, we immediately went to the front desk, showed them pictures I took of one of the roaches in the bed and asked for a refund. Charles was working the desk and said he didn’t have the code to provide our refund at the moment, but that the manager would contact us in the morning and issue our refund. Refund was never received and anytime I call, no one picks up. We drove very slowly in our car (which was busted and needed repairs) to the comfort inn down the street. I honestly wouldn’t be writing this review if they had kept their word and refunded us, especially with the picture evidence I had."
