"We had a couple of somewhat meaningful issues that made our stay less than pleasant. For starters there were no outlets on one side of the bed. Their wall-mounted headboard covered them, and the plugs for the lights and alarm clock were inaccessible. So I had no place to plug in my CPAP. The window in our room looked directly into a public parking garage, and the light blocking curtains didn't close well. Plus, the way the AC unit was mounted underneath the window it let a lot of the city noises through, including some type of high pitched electrical whine. Combine all of that with an unusually lumpy bed that had an obvious divot one one side making it difficult to get any type of meaningful sleep. The only parking available through the hotel was valet parking, at a cost of $37 per day. But given that the parking garage was literally visible from our room, it was weird that they hadn't worked out some type of deal to provide parking to hotel guests. Normally I don't mind, but the listing on Marriott's own app doesn't mention that parking wasn't included, and for the additional cost I could have selected a hotel with a nicer view, in a better location, and included free parking. The staff was friendly though, and I can't fault them for anything. But whoever designed the floorplan with the windows looking directly into a parking garage, and implemented the headboards with no electrical outlets really did ruin what was otherwise a perfectly good location for a hotel. It was really disappointing for someone who is going out of my way to use Marriott hotels, who has accrued a number of Marriott points and even reserved the room months in advance, to end up with a room that clearly, management has never stepped foot in."
"I had a terrible experience here and won’t be coming back. I was given a terrible smelly room with no windows and told it was an upgrade. After finding a massive stain on the sheets I complained and was told no other rooms were available. They gave me a stack of sheets and told me to change my bed myself. I was told I’d get points as compensation but never did. I want to write a review but of course wasn’t sent the survey, and contacting Marriott directly hasn't changed a thing. They refuse to respond."
"What’s the point of getting a Mobile Key if you have to come to the desk to get it? They said they had to verify my ID and credit card info first. After reading reviews about their staff stealing credit card numbers, it makes total sense now. Very shady place. Don’t get robbed."
"If you’re looking for a clean stay, look elsewhere. Upon checking in to my room after a long day of travel, there was hair in the bed and stained sheets. On the floor in the corner was a dead flower, a bottle cap and crumpled trash. A random garbage bag was on the floor. We were moved to a new room, and this room had pet urine on the corner of the tile bathroom floor. There was also stray hairs in the bathroom, and no hot water. I dropped something on the floor and it was evident that behind the toilet hasn’t been cleaned in ages. It’s such a shame because this appears to be a newer hotel. We will never stay here again."
"The location was perfect for what we needed. We were there for a bachelorette night for my daughter. The entire staff was so helpful. Seriously a difficult treat to find these days. Shaun at the front desk was my hero. She got us into our room in time to decorate and surprise my daughter. Shaun “understood the assignment”. Props to her! The valet team were all so full of energy and were always helpful and easy to chat with. I couldn’t boast more about my experience."
