"First visit to 1st Family Dental and no complaints from me. The waiting area was comfortable and clean as well as the patient rooms. The equipment was up to date and yielded quick results meaning I knew up front what my issues were. Finally the dentist was great. She made sure to understand my dental history, performed a full exam, thoroughly explained her findings and targeted my treatment which starts next week. I'm happy to get back on track with my dental health and look forward to continuous care."

"The Dr. was not personable or friendly AT ALL!. he didn't introduce himself like most Dentists do and explain anything. My 3pm appt. for a simple filling (1)tooth, resulted in me leaving this office around 6pm. I was 1 of 2 other patients. it seemed like he was the only Dentist there. The receptionist was great. she explained the coverages and scheduled me for a future appt. but I'm definitely not going back to this place."

"Let me start by saying there should be more stars because I definitely need more than 5 to rank my experience at this office located on 111 St. Starting with the Receptionist who is very professional and courteous when greeting each patient. Now for Dr. Andrews and Ms. Xandra who with just being themselves made me feel so comfortable from the beginning until the end of my appointment. When I say that this is the first time I have encountered a Dentist's office where the entire staff including the Dental Asst. and Marketing Mgr. were as involved in making sure that the patient (myself) was accommodated and answered every question making sure I fully understood everything step by step. All of them shared the same knowledge regardless of what their roll was leaving me feeling well informed and able to make my decisions with a clear understanding of what to expect and this was just my first appointment. At my second appointment there were questions that my son had and Ms. Xandra offered an open invitation for him to come in and sit so that she could address any concerns he might have. And Dr. Andrews, well he takes his time and really listens to you making you feel confident and relaxed while addressing your situation and explaining the x-rays and procedures that he recommends for you but, allows you to make the final decision that you feel is right for you and your budget without pressure. This is the type of staff that demonstrates their dedication not only to their profession but, also their patients. I'm glad I chose this Dentist office."

"Wow. Today I made new friends at this dental office. First I was impressed by the inside of the office for starters. Then as I walked through the hallway I became more impressed. The entire place is clean. The staff were ALL pleasant and helpful. Unbelievable I found a dentist in the hood that I actually would recommend."

"No stars but because it requires a grading, I am grading one star. The majority of these reviews are praising Dr. Maclin, who deserves the praise. However, he left when 1st Family Dental of West Roseland bought out the former owner. So, using the positive reviews under this new ownership is dishonest and disingenuous. Thinking that Dr. Maclin was still on staff, I went to 1st Family Dental. The personnel at 1st Family Dental tried to get me to stay but I when I discovered Dr. Maclin had left, I followed him to his new operation. Within two weeks, 1st Family Dental conjured up some bills they said I owed that date back six years. Would they have done that had I decided to stay? I don't think so. I'm fighting this manufactured charge which is rooted in vindictiveness."
