"Beware of this campground!! If you like your things stolen. Then be my guest. This place has very bad Family values and negative energies. The Campground Owners Son Donny has rubbed everyone the wrong way with his lies and theft. He recently has been trying to steal his mother's property through a fraudulent Court procedure and documents. Stating she has dementia. Due to her Becoming ill from a diabetic episode over a year ago. Instead of caring for his mother. At the hospital. He and his Doctor writes up fraudulent Documents for him to steal his mother's rights out from under her while she is incompetent in an induced coma due to high blood sugar. He straps her rights with a court order making himself Guardianship and conservatorship over her and her property!! She had told me it her son was a good son and didn't take advantage of her and was not a Thief!! That She would have granted Him with these rights over her. But instead he has and had to Steal her rights out from under her. During her Hospital stay. I've also recently talked with a realtor in Jasper Alabama Suzy Blackwood that has also told me that Donny Lawson is a terrible terrible person.."

"Sleepy holler is a beautiful campground with a very good security team great church nursery a lot of things going on at sleepy holler for the community and beautiful property and land you can park your camper there pay one price everything included and take a shower in the shower whatever you know it's it's like a little community of communion"

"The church is awesome. Pastor Decatur is one of the best pastor I know. He an his wife Shane are truly working for GOD & GOD is truly working through them. Mary Lawson the owner is truly an amazing GOD led n fed woman. I truly can an will say I love her as I loved my own mom."

"If I could give this place less than a zero I would. We pulled in late. Since I was visiting relatives I paid for 4 days ($160 cash). We set up in a rainstorm.... Electricity did not work. Oh well we will fix it in the morning. Found out in the morning the electricity did not work at all. The bathrooms did not work and the roads to the upper part of the campground were steep and had washouts in them. No way I would take my 34' motorhome up or down those roads. I asked for my money back and the woman said she did not have a key to the lock box. I was willing to pay for the night but to not refund any of the $160 was unbelievable. She agreed to send half back but did show me NO REFUNDS on the small check in card. DO NOT GO HERE....."

"It's not a bad place to live. It's also reasonably priced too. It needs the road redone all the way through. They need to hire a regular maintenance man or men full-time for up keep of place. Campers are nice, but they all need work."
