"Asked for help and an associate was able to direct me where needed (el kw pads for volleyball). I was also looking for a first aid kit (coaching) but store did not carry. Associate indicated to check a national pharmacy."
"What an uncaring place. We went here to look for weights for our gym, and saw other things we could use--like Roller Blades. Their display had no prices on any of them and it seemed they were missing some. No one greeted us or was available to help. We had to run down a person to get a price check and they scanned and ran off before we could ask a question or confirm what we heard There were no descriptions to help us understand the differences so I went to the shoe section to find a bench to try them on. Still no help. After putting on my second pair I stood up and fell--hard. Nobody, and I mean NO body who was around asked if I was okay or offered to help me up. One guy was even smirking and tried to get his phone out. I hit my elbow really hard and my head. We then wandered around the store looking for instant ice packs for the swelling. We found one guy stocking and asked for ice. My husband explained that I fell and he went and got me a bag of ice. Still no "are you okay?" "Let me get a manager". He just went back to stocking. We bought an instant ice pack and left in pain and feeling so foreign. We just moved to the area and we're exploring what's nearby. This place? No need to return. I get the same lack of help ordering online."
""Ohhhh no. No one greeted me when I walked in. Do you know who I am? Do you know how IMPORTANT I AM???" Seriously... people are so selfish these days. Sorry no one acknowledged your existence Bianca... That being said I got some great help from a few associates helping me get a glove for my 9 year old daughter. He helped pick the right size. Once we had that another young man steam and break in the glove for us. He was showing a trainee how to do it. He explained it very well to him. He was a great teacher. Then another associate helped us find the perfect cleats for my girl. They fit her great. She's very happy. To top it all off the associate who rang us up helped us get the right coupon so we would save some money. She actually rang in the order 3 times before we finished. All of this great service and I don't think anyone welcomed us into the store.... and I don't care. Sure a hello is nice, but I understand that people are busy and sometimes a greeting can be missed. Decent human beings realize this."
"I just left the Melville store to take my bike my son’s bike and that we bought with his protection plan to get service. They want me to leave the bike there. I have no problem but the point is I didn’t get a ticket number or a tag saying my bike is at the shop, so when people work 12 hours a day and go there when the bicycle shop people ain’t there how do you supposed to jump off your bike when you don’t get a ticket number or tag centage of vehicle is there in getting service that goes with anybody Shop"
"Nice store but the bathroom was disgusting. The staff really did not acknowledge anyone in the store . Mostly kids working there but even some of the older guys near the shoes are in their own little world . I was looking for shooting sleeves and couldn’t get any help. Then when I checked out I literally had to ask for a bag to put my stuff in and it wasn’t just like one item I had quite a few things. Common sense tells you to put the stuff in a bag!"
