"Dr Burns’ apparent negligence in failing to submit an US referral to the hospital in a timely manner is unacceptable. Children’s and Women’s released my grandson on a Wednesday morning with instructions to follow up with his pediatrician and have a follow up US by Friday. At Thursday’s appointment with Dr Burns, she showed no indication that she would, in fact, make the effort required to get the US scheduled because, “Friday is tomorrow.” On Monday and on Tuesday, my daughter called the hospital, but no referral had been sent. She called Dr Burns’ office on both days and was told the US scheduler would reach out to her. She was never contacted. It’s now Wednesday, and still no referral has been received at the hospital and no contact received from Dr Burns’ office after a third call was placed to them today. This is regarding a 2 month old infant with a diagnosed intussusception who needs follow up. The lack of concern, compassion, and efficiency from this office is abhorrent. Beware sending your child here."
"My wife brought our son here for his vaccines at 1 yr old. They asked if she also wanted to give him a flu shot, and she said no. Well they gave it to him anyway, and even though it's just a flu shot, the point is they can't be trusted."
"My granddaughter has been seeing Dr. Moore since she was born. She is now 5 years old. We’ve had nothing but great visits until she had to get her 5 year old shots for school. Dr. Moore didn’t take the time to answer questions and seemed like she was in a hurry to finish the visit to get to another patient. She wasn’t as friendly as she usually is. Then the nurse that came in the room to get her the shots was very rude and not friendly at all. She did not even speak or try to talk to my granddaughter like the other nurses did in the past visits. She grabbed my granddaughter’s legs and snatched her down to the end of the exam bed. Then she put my granddaughter’s feet between her legs to restrain her from moving her legs which this has never took place on our past visits. My daughter told the nurse she did not like the idea of her restraining her like that. The nurse then proceeded to jabbed a shot into each leg which caused my granddaughter extreme pain. I have never heard my granddaughter scream and cry from getting a shot like she did on this particular visit.,My daughter told the nurse she wanted to speak to Dr. Moore about her demeanor. Dr. Moore came back into the room and my daughter preceded to tell her about the rudeness and demeanor of the nurse. Dr. Moore said she would speak to the nurse about it but gave us the impression that she really didn’t care. My daughter told her that particular nurse would never tend to or touch her daughter again. This was the worst visit and experience for my granddaughter at that particular office thanks to that particular nurse. She will now be terrified of going to a doctor."
"Dr. Moore always is so sweet and professional too. My 4yo is still giggling about Dr. moore placing her stethoscope on her head and then her elbow asking if her heart is in each of those places. Lots of giggles today during ear infection re-check. We love you Dr. Moore. Thank you and the whole crew for being here for our family."
"I have tried to bring mu toddler there multiple times. After speaking with them on the phone I decided against it. They are very difficult, act like they don't wish to help sick children, and are rude even when you try to be nice. Every time I have interacted with them it was a bad experience. I drive farther than the closets pediatric location (this one)just to get my daughter seen. I take her to the urgent care for adults over this place because they want you to jump through hoops to get a kid seen for a cough, or fever or other normal sick symptoms. When a child is running a fever it is unrealistic to ask for shot records from another doctor has to be obtained by them before she is seen. I tried to explain she has all that but it is where her mother takes her and we live over an hour from each other. Please save yourself the trouble and just go somewhere else."
