"Even though they say clearance, the prices are still very high. The furniture is nice, just not in my budget at the time. The sales staff is nice though."

"Went to look at area rugs because we saw 70% off sale. Once in the store I quickly realized the rugs were 70% off the absurd prices each are rug was tagged. Their 70% prices were the same as any internet seller was asking for their rugs. The only good thing was I got to actually see the colors of the rug unlike taking a chance on an internet purchase. The staff was super friendly. Interestingly enough, the sales person told us that their landlord was tripling the rent for the store and they were moving into the old Ethan Allen Furniture Store. Not sure that is true, but it does put some perspective to their commercials on TV saying 'we are closing this location forever'. Not moving locations and we don't want to move all this stuff to the new location. Which would be perfectly fine to tell people. Moving all that furniture, rugs, and stuff will cost a lot of money and time. -1 star for marking items with absurd prices and then attempting to convince a buyer they are getting a deal over other sellers. -1 for misleading people on store closing instead of moving."

"A car dealership in the form of a furniture store. From pushy employees who lie to get you to buy to an unorganized warehouse who couldn’t even tell me for certain where my couch was. As far as I’m concerned they are shady people with an awful and predatory business model. No wonder they are going out of business."

"My friend went to buy a rug discounted 65% off at the store closing sale. It was damaged, so they got her a new one and forgot to take the wrapper off with model number on it. When she looked up the model number, the 65% off sale was still nearly double the price of the exact same rug from Amazon."
