"6th St. Dive is a small local bar with a limited menu. A group of 7 of us had all been there before and were expecting the same results. Well, as with most places, services were limited to one bartender and 3 cooks. Needless to say it was, the food was great, but the margaritas were not as good. I told the bartender, and she prepared me a different that was absolutely delicious!! We will be returning!!"
"Have had their homemade guacamole and chips numerous times. Went in tonight and ordered the same. It was NOT the same. Chips were clearly out of a bag. Waitress tried to say they were fried in house but obviously they were not. Will NOT return. Left without ordering dinner."
"Great little place with homemade chips and salsa. Wings were great and the service was amazing. Carly was a great bartender."
"we stopped at the 6th Street dive today in Lafayette for a $9 old school huge tenderloin. I prefer a smaller thicker tenderloin but this was definitely a five-star traditional. nicely seasoned with a crispy coating. and tater tots crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. service was also tops. we were riding our bikes and they filled our water bottles with water and ice. two of us struggled to finish one of these tenderloins."
"This hard to see bar serves up some good food. We started with the chips and guacamole and found that they have some of the best tortilla chips in town. They are hot and crisp. The guac is fresh as well. We then had the Knucklehead Burrito and the Italian special. Both were pretty good and portions are generous. The burrito had an overwhelming number of tater tots in it. Definitely not a place to go for health food. They also serve brunch on some days (you might want to check in advance). It's really solid, and the jalapeno waffles are outstanding!"
