"I really don't want to leave this review as I never do these and am not one to complain, but I am really hopeful Rob and Tami will see this and try to change things. I used to come in several times a week. Now it's only once, and only because of poker. Things have really gone downhill. Food is often not as ordered and honestly isn't very good. I love the staff! However, they are very obviously not happy with their work environment. Speaking with some that have gone to work elsewhere, current management is a major factor in their decision to leave, and I am sure is the reason for other factors why I no longer frequent coopers. They used to have daily specials. No more. They used to have a Mug Club special on poker nights. Which is great cause I was there for an easy 4 hours. At random i was told the beer i normally get is no longer part of the special. Then a week later they stopped doing the special. As soon as they stopped the mug club I stopped going early for food before poker. Then they raised the price of pitchers. They went from $14 to $18. And then on Wednesdays they had a Pitcher Night. I was told the beer I like is not honored for the special. Why bother having a Pitcher special if it's only for select beers? Coopers has gone downhill. Hopefully under different management it can be saved. But as it stands, under Jackie, I do not see it lasting another year. Which sucks because Rob is an awesome guy and I love having a local poker spot."
"My HR Team had our Christmas Team Dinner together at Cooper's Pub. We were in their downstairs area and it was amazing! It looked warm and welcoming...almost like a lounge. The food was absolutely amazing and very tasty. The two women taking care of our group drink/food orders AND bringing everything to us were very friendly and were super amazing, too. This place is wonderful! If you have not had the opportunity to visit here, I HIGHLY recommend that you do. This is not a chain, but a gem of a place owned by local people who gave this place a lot of character and paid close attention to details to make a restaurant more of an experience for good food rather than a place to go to eat. Thank you Cooper's Pub for a wonderful night!"
"Very cool atmosphere. It was a mix of High Plains roadhouse and Irish Pub. The menu seemed to have a focus on spicy food. I had the River Chicken sandwich which was a grilled breast with a sauce spin and blue cheese and veggies. Fairly simple order but they did it well. The fries looked great but I did salad. They had a ton of choices for beers and drinks, but I was on a business lunch. Maybe next time!"
"Stopped in for dinner and really didn't feel the meal was worth the money. Started with the catfish curls, next to the great service, easily the best part of the whole meal, though not really worth $12. The mushroom and swiss burger didn’t seem fresh and appeared to be made with a preformed, store bought pattie and definitely not worth $11. The third best thing was the pub chips, but are not worth the $2 upgrade. And the atmosphere is your basic pub, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but not enough for a second visit."
"Let’s start with the atmosphere. Warm and welcoming with all the charm of the old building it’s nestled in. There is a large room in the back with dart boards and an area big enough for a band. We went out first time on a Wednesday, the last Wednesday of the month. On this day each month they have open mic for music, comedy or whatever! The food was incredible! Salads were huge with every topping you could think of. Burgers are the best around period! These burgers are what Walburg’s wish they were! I had the Coleslaw Burger and it’s the best burger I’ve ever had hands down. The fries were good and the drinks were great! The staff is very friendly and hard working! Taylor was our waitress and we will ask for her every time! Thank you for making our first experience here a great one!"
