"I eat dumplings and fried rice. Dumplings were not that good. Fried rice was a bit dry but tasty. Asking for spice level was a smart move. Complimentary lentil soup was not good, you should go for salad. All and all it was a good experience."
"This was my first time having traditional Tibetan food and I was very impressed. We started with an order of the Temo and an order of the Mo Mo. The Temo is a soft doughy bread that you drown in butter, do not expect a lot of flavor but it is good. The Mo Mo are beef dumplings and they were excellent. The meat is seasoned well and they are steamed to perfection. For main course I ordered the Kham Amdo Thugpa which was a delicious stew. I ordered it at 2 spicy and it had plenty of flavor. The noodles and chicken were good, I would have liked to see a few more vegetables than the few tomatoes that were in there. Overall the dish was good, I was very happy with it. It came with a soup and salad which were both excellent. The soup was a lentil I believe and it had a bit of a lemony flavor that was very good. The dressing for the salad was ginger but had a hint of peanut, it was amazing. The service was great, very friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. They also have Thai and Indian dishes if that is more your style."
"This is quaint little restaurant in Bloomington that serves both Tibetan and Indian food. The food and samosa as appetizers was very delicious. The staff were very prompt and polite. We had a pleasurable experience here after our New Year Day’s hike and trail run. The restaurant is well-decorated and food is authentic. Highly suggest this place for dinner dates."
"Fantastic experience at this Bloomington gem! The house soup was flavorful, the momo dumplings were perfectly seasoned, and the Thai Iced Tea was refreshingly delicious. A must-visit spot!"
"I love the vibe here. It's in and old house and each room is a different dining area. Tons of Dalai Lama photos from his visits to this place and a cool fireplace at the center of one of the rooms. The momo dumplings are delicious, especially with the accompanying sauces. The original momos are my favorite here. The Kham Amdo Thigpa was good. I can't tolerate a lot of spice and chose two out of five. It was perfect and not too overwhelming. Service was excellent."
