"On December 8th at approximately 845 pm, I was at Pak a sak, on Jefferson street. I am there almost every evening to purchase things like lottery tickets, energy drinks and etc. . The sales associate that was working there, knows I come in there just about every evening. This evening, there was an Hispanic male and female and assuming THIER son also in the store buying scratch offs. stepping away from the counter and scratching them off and going back up to the counter and turning them in. this went on for several minutes. when I approached the counter to buy some scratch off tickets a couple of the tickets happened to be the ones that the other two people in there were purchasing. the sales associate refused to sell me any of the same tickets that the previous people were purchasing, even though they were not at the counter anymore and we're busy scratching off other tickets.she stated to me that she was not going to "SELL UNDER "them. that they had been spending money on those tickets and would only sell to them. and I said I cannot believe that, I have the right to purchase those tickets and she refused to sell me any of the tickets that they were buying. So I went ahead and purchased the other tickets that she would sell me and I can tell you that I wasn't very happy. She broke the law, she would not sell me the Indiana lottery tickets because someone else was playing them. She should be FIRED. I was so upset when I got home I called Hoosier lottery AND filed a complaint I gave them the details and all of the information. Including the store associate's name, and everything that happened and they could not believe it either, this was a major major violation. I was told by the Hoosier lottery representative that they would take the information and have someone look into it. so on Tuesday December 11th I received a phone call from the lottery agent that said he was going to visit them and do an investigation and explain to them that, this cannot happen, that they have to sell lottery tickets to anyone who was over the age of 18 at any time no matter who's playing them or how much money they are spending. they were standing around in the store buying tickets, walking around scratching them off while in the store, and going back and buying more, turning them in getting their winnings and so on and so forth. this was unbelievable to me that I was denied buying these tickets because she was selling them to someone else. I hope, it's sad to say but this was completely and utterly unbelievable and so frustrating I can't tell you how it made me feel, that she was so blatantly, breaking the law. I honestly hope that Pak a sak loses their lottery sales. I will never shop at that store again there's some serious fraud going on there. This is the Pak a Sak, on West Jefferson, Plymouth, Indiana."
