"Small town, and a greasy spoon. What goes better than that? The Magic wand manages to hold against the dirges of time with an old timer diner feel. You're greeted after seating yourself. The portions are good size and filling. While not particularly anything to write home about in terms of uniqueness. Your typical diner fare in the Midwest. It's hearty and filling, but not five star dining. You can see the kitchen from the backless stools at the diner bar, and hear the banter of the cooks. If you're hungry and looking for an authentic diner experience, check it out."

"This place was awesome! The food was mouth-wateringly good, my husband had the tenderloin and fries he brought home half a sandwich which he doesn't normally do. I myself at the double cheeseburger and fries the decor is awesome if you like clowns myself love clown figurines I don't collect them but I love looking at them they remind me of an old friend of the family where I spent many Summers of my childhood, and then in my adult years eating at her restaurant Verna"s in Chandlerville Illinois. I love this place and will go back"
