"I haven’t eaten at the Sunday buffet in several years. Online and on site flyers mention the omelette station which no longer is available. This was a disappointment. Most food items were fine, although the biscuits were tough. Overall it seems the amount of choices has been reduced. I also missed the Christmas decorations. Also, no gluten free dessert options were offered."

"My first attempt at Sunday brunch was a horrible experience.d The people in front of us were not asked about reservation nor does the website say anything about reservations are required. When my party of 4 got ready to pay the cashier told us she didn’t have any tables, we asked her how long would the wait time be she responded we don’t do wait times. She didn’t offer us any explanation but we clearly heard her tell the man ahead of us to let his server know he didn’t have a reservation. Clearly the cashier didn’t want us eating there. Since this was my first time going you only get one shot to impress me and The Garrison blew it!"

"We had our wedding here last month and it is a great budget-friendly option (there are so few in the area!) that we were happy with. Coordinating with their point person, Chris, was easy and smooth. The food was good, nothing too fancy (I think mostly if not entirely buffet options) but it all tasted good. The alcohol selection is decent, with different package options and price points. I did wish they had a few more options for wine choices. One server went out of her way to bring us the bottle of champagne we had ordered and to pour glasses for us which was very kind (we had assumed we’d go grab it from the bar). The patio has beautiful views for sunset photos. They have some esoteric rules about alcohol service and music/party end times due to being a government institution but we didn’t have any problems. They have no minimums, though the pricing on food and alcohol isn’t final until much much closer to the wedding date as they update their menu and pricing a couple of times a year and it did change fairly significantly for us."

"Went here for the first time for a work event. The place was lovely upon arrival, clean and easy to find as it sits right next to Fort Harrison State Park and golf course. It is a bit dated with lots of wood, but I can see why it would be a popular place to host an affordable wedding, party, shower+. The food was good but nothing special. We were supposed to eat at 6:30, but not sure why it was delayed by maybe 15 minutes. We heard there is brunch here, but I am not super compelled to come back. Seems it would be popular with older people as the place is just as about Indiana as it gets! (Not in a negative way)"
