"Made a reservation and the host called our name, but walked another party with the same first name to our table. We questioned him as he walked by and just said several with that name. Need checked the last name. We waited, questioned the hostess then, said we were next, and when our name called, she said different last name, and then told her the host gave our reserve table away 30 minutes ago. Need to do better on this. Everything else was good."
"We had a great dinner for four this weekend. Server was great. Cook was great. Food never disappoints. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated for Christmas. There is another Japanese restaurant in the area with a hibachi grill, but there is no comparison in the food. Kabuto wins!"
"Nothing special, unfortunately. Decided to try a different hibachi. The atmosphere had an older been there a while feel to it. Which usually means it's good. That wasn't my experience. The salad was just iceberg lettuce with what seemed like a very watered-down ginger dressing. The clear soup had zero flavor and only two small pieces of mushroom floating in it. Was very disappointing. The hibachi itself wasn't terrible but it wasn't as flavorful as others I've had. I got chicken and steak with the usual rice and vegetables. The hibachi overall had a sweet taste to it, which was kinda odd. With the bill being $70 for 4 people (with a crab rangoon appetizer) I wasn't impressed. For that price, I'd rather go down the road to kumo. Where I know the quality is worth the price and won't be disappointing. Unfortunately, I do not recommend nor will I eat here again."
