Steak 'n Shake

"The franchise owner at this location has done an amazing job! Pros: 1. Super clean 2. Franchise owner was present and was very friendly. 3. The staff was very quick to process the order and it was very fresh. 4. Food tasted amazing. (I really think they are better and cheaper than McDonald's) 5. Outside of building was clean and no trash. Cons: My only con is you cannot order large drinks if you visit inside. I love getting large vanilla Cokes and it can't be done. The only way is through the drive thru. The franchise owner said it's a pain and just upgrades it for free if they ask. Other locations do not do that I have tried. He thinks it should be on the screen to order and it's not. I am hopeful powers that be see this and fix it. I visit this location about 3 times a year and wish it was more, but I do not live close or I would."

"My kids and I stopped here for dinner last night. The kids love the food and milkshakes, it’s affordable, and we’ve noticed a great turn around in the speed of service at this location as well. However we were overwhelmed by the kindness the employees showed my children last night. Thank you for turning an ordinary meal out into such a fun and exciting evening they are still talking about. Above and beyond service!"

"Man don’t sleep on S&S. I know this brand and this location specifically has been in some serious serious turmoil for a while. But I stopped in here randomly for lunch last week. Not gonna lie, my expectations were pretty low. But you now order off of a terminal right inside the front door and it’s very user-friendly. Pay, grab your cup, pour your drink, sit down and wait for your food. Food took less than five minutes and it was great. I’m not saying it’s the most gourmet burger I’ve ever had but it’s leaps and bounds ahead of any fast food and really no more expensive. And you have to love the shoestring fries. It’s the best marriage of a fast food experience (speed and cost) and a sit down experience (better food) without all the drama of waiting for a table, waiting for your server, etc etc."

"Best fast food in town. Great crust on the burger, tastes fresh, prepared well with care. The workers are kind, the dining room is clean. Can't say enough! Great value! Love it here!"

"This place is so great now. It used to be awful. Slow. Not very tasty. Terrifying at night. Then they closed and reopened and holy cow. Welcome to 2023, Steak n Shake. I love you. Order at a kiosk. Receive your accurate, delicious food very quickly from a smiling staff member. Sit and eat in the clean dining room until 10pm! Fear not being riddled with bullet holes. Places like this seem to only ever get worse and then go away, but Steak N Shake got with it and lives on. Whoever took the reigns with this one, thank ya! Sittin here eating a double with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and Mayo with a Barq’s is one of my happy places."
